This book is the coolest thing EVER! My son and I are big Notebook of Doom fans, we are on book 10 of 13 and we will both be VERY sad to see them end! This book is the ACTUAL Notebook that the main character, Alexander carries with him always. It’s full color and a lot thicker than I expected! My son spends hours looking through and reading all of the monsters descriptions. He wants to carry it in his backpack just like Alexander does (incase he comes across any monsters!) hehe sooo cute! I’m so happy to have stumbled across this book!
Fun new addition to the series! This is my 7 year olds favorite series and he was thrilled to receive it today. He immediately began reading about each monster. The color in the book was a great touch.
This is my son's favorite series! He eagerly awaits each new book, meaning we have to preorder for release day delivery. He was so excited when this arrived! Great book with fun illustrations. I highly recommend the whole series!
My son absolutely loves this book. It started out with a love for the series, but then I stumbled on this book. He loves the color pictures, the included maps and all the "facts" about the monsters. If you have a fan of The Notebook of Doom in your house, I would suggest this book!
My son loves this series. We had actually started our own Monster Notebook with a blank composition notebook before this book came out. We copied some monsters from the series, but also created our own. My son still enjoys this book as the drawings are in color and now he wants to color the drawings in his notebook. If you don't want to make your own, this Monster Notebook is a great addition for anyone who likes this series.
This is perfect for any fan of the series. Each page is devoted to a monster, like an encyclopedia, it has lots of fun facts about each one. It is true the binding is very brittle and pages can easily fall out., so the five stars reflect content only. We originally checked this out from the library, which had the same binding problem, but my son loved it so much we bought him his own copy.
This is a fun addition to the series. My son has finished this book and likes when a monster shows up in the regular books.
